बंधूभगिनींनो आपणा सर्वांना मी केयूर देशपांडेचा नमस्कार !
भारतीय ज्ञानपीठाने प्रकाशित केलेली हिंदी-उर्दू-फार्शी भाषेतील श्री मेवारामसर लिखित ऐतिहासिक कादंबरी "सुल्तान रजिया" हिचा मराठी भाषेत अनुवाद माझी आई सौ किमया किशोर देशपांडे हिने केला. तो अनुवाद प्रकाशित करण्याच्या निमित्त्याने श्री मेवारामसरांच्याच सल्ल्याने व मार्गदर्शनाने उषा पब्लिकेशनची स्थापना २९ जून २०१३ रोजी झाली. गेल्या दीड वर्षात उषा पब्लिकेशनतर्फे नीलिमा नृत्यालयाच्या सहकार्याने दिवाळी पहाट, साज, नटनगरसे बात करे, दत्त जयंतीच्या निमित्याने कीर्तन असे सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम झाले.
ऐतिहासिक किंवा संशोधनात्मक लिखाण उषा पब्लिकेशनतर्फे करायचे हे मनाशी पक्के ठरविले आहे. त्यानुसार श्री मेवारामसरांनी लिहिलेली "दास्ताने-आग्रा" ही किमया किशोर देशपांडे ह्यांची अनुवादित कादंबरी तर इतिहासाच्या अभ्यासक आणि जेष्ठ लेखिका सौ सुहासिनीताई देशपांडे भावानुवाद जहानआरा बेगम (कहाणी मुघल शाहजादीची) तसेच साहित्यमहोपाध्याय श्री मेवारामलिखित "गुनाहौं की देवी" ही हिंदी कादंबरी. या तिन्ही पुस्तकांचा प्रकाशन सोहळा संपन्न होणार आहे. आजच्या ह्या कार्यक्रमात तीन कादंबऱ्या एकाचवेळी रसिक वाचकांसमोर ठेवताना आम्हाला विशेष आनंद होतो आहे. आपणास त्या नक्की आवडतील अशी खात्री बाळगतो. अजून एक गोष्ट आज आपण करीत आहोत ते म्हणजे उषा पब्लिकेशन वेबसाईटचे उद्घाटन !
